As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will take on a variety of tasks, including surveying, design, and project management activities. You’ll play an integral role in driving our shared vision while gaining exposure to cutting-edge projects across a range of sectors.
As our Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the support and delivery of our electrical services design projects.
Your clients will come from a wide range of sectors including Domestic, Commercial and Public Buildings. The majority of your teams’ projects will relate to Building Services Design; however, you will also work closely with the Low Energy Building Design & Project Management Team.
Typically, electrical projects will include: Internal, External and Emergency Lighting, Small Power System, Fire & Security Systems, Cable Containment, LV & HV Electrical Distribution, Cable Sizing / Amtech Calculations, Plant Room Design, Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, Battery Storage Systems and Project Management Support Activities. We anticipate that you will take great pride in the quality of your work and all associated deliverables.

- Total Compensation Package £36,000 – £39,000 (Base + benefits)
- Base Salary £31,000 to £34,000
- 28 days Holiday (Plus 8 Days Public Holidays)

THE ROLE:
- Providing Electrical Services Design to Low Energy Buildings (Domestic, Commercial and Public Building Sectors)
- Supporting Electrical Building Services Design projects through all RIBA stages 1-6
- Supporting the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and services team
- Supporting the construction process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams
- Supporting Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4) and technical teams
- Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
- Developing and improving technical systems in the business
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and experts
YOU WILL DEVELOP SKILLS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable or Engineering related degree / apprenticeship
- Full clean driving licence (Able to travel to sites)
- Experience designing various electrical systems using CAD
- Experience using MS Excel including formulas and functions
