A super home with low carbon heating and renewable technology. Mantis Energy designed an underfloor heating system powered by an air source source heat pump and a mechanical ventilation with heat recovery unit (MVHR) to recover heat from the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition to this the homes benefits from an air source heat pump system heating the pool, air conditioning for bedrooms in summer and a large Solar PV array to generate electricity on site.
