Mantis supported Darwen NHS Health Centre in delivering a full Net Zero Carbon strategy, from early feasibility through to detailed design.
Our work included technical surveys, energy modelling, mechanical design, and fabric upgrades, with a focus on replacing fossil fuel heating with low-carbon heating solutions.

- Intrusive Inspections: Conducted air pressure testing, cavity wall borescope inspections, roof sampling, and detailed utility assessments.
- Funding Application: Compiled comprehensive evidence for a successful Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) bid.
- Design Delivery: Provided heating distribution design, mechanical plant room layouts, and tender documentation for contractor with detailed design selection.
