Compstall Road is a new development of low energy homes in Romiley, Stockport. Mantis worked closely with the client and BUJU Architects to deliver Mechanical & Electrical designs that combine renewable heating, on-site power generation, and efficient ventilation. The result is a series of modern homes designed for comfort, sustainability, and low running costs.
Renewable Heating & Comfort
Each property benefits from an air source heat pump paired with underfloor heating. This system provides consistent, efficient warmth throughout the home while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Clean Air & Ventilation
To maintain high indoor air quality, Mantis designed a mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system. This ensures fresh, filtered air while capturing heat from outgoing air, reducing overall energy demand.
Integrated M&E Design
From heat loss calculations to utilities and water services schematics, Mantis delivered a full suite of M&E design services. Every element was carefully planned to provide future-proofed, efficient homes that meet the needs of modern living.
